B2K Fan Girl Turned Writer for Omarion-PRODUCED Series

As a longtime fan of B2K, contributing as a writer on Wild Rose felt like a full-circle moment.

Created by Deji LaRay and premiering on ALLBLK, Wild Rose follows Roosevelt—known as “Rose”—a charismatic hitman raised within a family of assassins operating behind the façade of a community non-profit. When his wife and daughter mysteriously disappear, Rose is forced to confront the truth about his family, his loyalty, and the life he’s been trained to live.

I was especially excited to come on board and explore the tension between family, duty, and personal truth—what it means to inherit a legacy you didn’t choose, and the cost of breaking away from it.

Writing Stories Set in the South

As a writer on G.R.I.T.S (Girls Raised in the South), I had the opportunity to step into stories rooted in a Southern voice and lived experience—approaching character, setting, and dialogue with an ear toward authenticity.

Created by Deji LaRay and premiering on ALLBLK, G.R.I.T.S follows three Memphis-based friends—Keisha, Ty, and Francis—as they navigate grief, love, ambition, and the growing pains of adulthood. Anchored by their shared love of roller skating, the women find renewed purpose as they train for a competition offering life-changing prize money.

I was especially excited to contribute to stories that explore self-discovery and the emotional resilience it takes to grow into the next chapter of your life—grounding each moment in the cultural texture that makes the South feel distinct.
